Pennington
County Highway is working hard continuing to clear roads when visibility
allows. Wall and New Underwood areas are the most difficult to clear at this
time. They continue to make progress in rest of the county, including Rapid
Valley. By the end of the day Thursday, they expect to punch through all asphalt roads
in the county, including the Wall asphalt roads. They don't expect them all to remain passable unless the wind subsides. Gravel roads will remain impassable with drifting snow through tonight.
Please
remain patient and thank you for taking preparedness steps and stocking up your
supplies before the storm.
